GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Elyria Utilities Department announced that one-time credit and debit card payments are not processing because the credit card service is down — automatic payments remain unaffected. Residents can still pay in person at the Utility Office or by mailing a check until the issue is resolved. City of Elyria
- ➤ The Coast Guard announced on Monday an updated ice removal plan for the Grand River, limiting breaks to shallow waters near the Morton Salt Dock (a measure to protect personnel and assets) to prevent ice jams.
