- ➤ An armed man—identified as 35-year-old Christopher Morris—entered the Convenient Food Mart in Elyria on April 7 at 6:51 a.m. when he first asked for a job application before brandishing a gun to demand cash, and he was arrested within hours after fleeing to an apartment on Ridge Circle. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in Northeast Ohio rose by 13 cents this week to $3.18 per gallon according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report. Refinery maintenance and the switch to summer-blend gasoline drove the increase although prices remain below levels seen last year. Cleveland 19 News
