Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 2nd of May.
Good morning, Elyria.
📰 Economy
AAA reports Ohio now has the 8th highest gas price with an average of $4.83 per gallon.
Prices rose 37 cents in 24 hours due to an Indiana refinery power issue (one of the region's largest) and global oil supply strains, affecting drivers.
🏥 Health
On Friday, Lakeland Community College hosted a free dental clinic in Kirtland that provided cleanings and extractions for 104 patients to avoid ER visits — dental hygiene students staffed the event, and a follow-up clinic will be held on May 16 at Care Alliance with volunteer support needed.
