- ➤ Kierra Armstrong, a 32-year-old Elyria woman, was arrested after a Saturday morning shooting when she forced entry into a home while intoxicated and got into a struggle with a 27-year-old that led to her firearm discharging and causing a minor injury, and she now faces charges of aggravated burglary and using weapons under disability while being held at Lorain County Jail. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Lake Erie Crushers announced that their stadium in Avon will only accept cashless payments at concessions, ticket windows, and for parking — using credit, debit, and mobile payments to speed up service. The team will begin its 2025 season on May 8 with an away game and host its home opener on May 13. Cleveland 19 News
