- ➤ A 53-year-old Grafton woman, Lynda Wright, was indicted by a Lorain County grand jury on charges—failure to stop after an accident, vehicular homicide and tampering with evidence—after she fled the scene of a hit-and-run on February 8 at 6:30 a.m. where she struck and killed a man on the 1400 block of Cooper Foster Park Rd in Lorain. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Officials reported that water service to the 300 block of Whitman Blvd was shut down for repairs and that the Stafford Dr and Whitman Blvd intersection was closed to traffic on May 5. Authorities said drivers could access the 400 and 500 blocks using Abbe Rd or Windsor Dr while properties on 101-323 Whitman Blvd and Canterbury Rd were reached via Gulf Rd. City of Elyria
