- ➤ Retired Avon Lake teacher Kathy Leopold will graduate on May 17 just before her 80th birthday as she completes an associate degree at Lorain County Community College. She has taken classes in creative writing+folklore to keep her brain active and her book will be used by Lorain County Children Services as a learning tool. Cleveland 19 News
