CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Elyria police arrested 30-year-old Simon Cruz Aguilar from Fort Pierce after he crashed his black Chevrolet Tahoe into the Sycamore Suites Hotel on the 600 block of Midway Boulevard last Saturday—staff found that the crash damaged a glass wall, outdoor pool enclosure, and guard rail but no one was hurt and police said additional charges are pending. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Overnight severe storms swept through Northeast Ohio and left about 50,000 FirstEnergy customers without power, and crews are still investigating outages & working to restore service. Restoration times remain unknown as efforts continue. Cleveland 19 News
