Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced that the 2025 sales tax holiday will run from midnight Aug.
1 through 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 14 — during which families can shop in stores and online without paying sales tax except on motor vehicles, watercrafts, outboard motors, alcohol, tobacco, vapor products and items containing marijuana.
