- ➤ Metroparks Police Chief Kelly Stillman said trace DNA from the 2019 double murder of Carnell Sledge and Kate Brown in Fairview Park may point to a suspect, and detectives are checking a possible link with a recent West Park shooting where Bryan Hurt shot his neighbor then turned his gun on himself (DNA tests are pending) while shell casings ruled out a match (ballistics show different weapons).
