- ➤ A Madison Township boy saved his friend’s life when he helped put out a fire on Fairfax Avenue on June 2 — the child was burned while playing with gasoline. Keith Rawlings, Jr. received the Life Saving Award at a township meeting on June 16 — his family and the child’s family attended. Cleveland 19 News

- ➤ Elyria police are searching for two boys ages 6 and 14 who left their home without permission Tuesday morning from the 800 block of Lake Avenue between 8 and 10 a.m.+ they ask anyone with information to call police immediately. Cleveland 19 News
- ➤ The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 28-year-old Robert Sicker—who poses a credible threat of serious physical harm—after he was last seen around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday near Riverview Elementary School; he is 5′11″ tall, weighs 200 pounds and wore black pants, a Riverside t-shirt and gray tennis shoes. - ➤ Dozens of industry professionals gathered this week at Lorain County Community College (organized by the Lorain County Commissioners and the county’s Community Development Department) to learn how Foreign-Trade Zones let Ohio manufacturers store and process imported goods without paying full duties. - ➤ On Tuesday, Cleveland Clinic announced that many Northeast Ohio locations will have extended hours. Starting July 7, outpatient appointments will be offered until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and elective surgeries will be available on Saturdays this summer—responding to patient feedback.
