ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • One person died and three others were seriously hurt in a three-vehicle crash on State Route 113 and Gore Orphanage Road in Henrietta Township on Sunday at 2:25 p.m.—troopers said a Ford Fusion failed to yield while turning left, causing a semi-truck to strike it and a Cadillac XT5 to collide head-on, with the injured taken to University Hospitals Elyria.  Cleveland 19 News

CRIME NEWS

  • Sheffield Lake Police are investigating a murder-suicide after a 64 year old woman and a 65 year old man were found dead inside a home on Cove Beach Avenue before 4 p.m. Saturday—police say the public is safe.  News 5 Cleveland
  • Sheffield Lake police say they arrived before 4 p.m. Saturday on the 400 block of Cove Beach Avenue and found a 65-year-old man who shot himself and a 64-year-old woman who was found shot—there is no public threat at this time, and the investigation continues.  Cleveland 19 News
  • On May 19, a Rising Sun Centers driver was shot in the back during a road rage incident in Lorain County while safely stopping her van with five passengers—she is now recovering at home as the suspect faces multiple felony charges.  News 5 Cleveland
