ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Dan Smith—64—was the only person on a boat that overturned near Miller Road Park on Lake Erie on Wednesday, with first responders pulling him from the water at 10:17 a.m. after a call at 9:58 a.m., and he was pronounced dead as the investigation continues. Cleveland 19 News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Avon Lake updated its traffic ordinances to limit e-bike speeds to 20 mph for Class 1 and 2 and 28 mph for Class 3 while requiring pedal-only use on sidewalks after multiple complaints of red light and stop sign violations—measures aimed at improving pedestrian safety.
