- ➤ After more than two years of waiting, seniors at Longfellow Living saw their usual RTA bus stop resume Tuesday morning when 69-year-old Craig Sullivan reached out for help; he said reopening the route eased challenges in reaching essential stores. Cleveland 19 News
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ In late June, Avon police and the Friendship Animal Protective League seized 37 animals from a home after officials found poor care of goats, sheep, dogs, and a cat—and a Monday hearing decided where the animals will go while the owner has one week to post a bond with criminal charges expected. - ➤ A Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted Feras Hamdan (a doctor from Avon) on charges of ethnic intimidation, tampering with evidence, aggravated menacing, and menacing after he threatened Congressman Max Miller and his family on I-90 near Rocky River on June 19, and he turned himself in with his attorney (receiving a $500,000 cash-assured bond with orders to surrender his passport and avoid contact with Miller and his family).
