CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Lorain Police Officer Phillip Wagner died after being ambushed on Wednesday and two other officers were injured; community fundraisers have raised donations—such as a Saturday dinner hosted by Abbie Payne and car show proceeds—to support the families affected by the attack. News 5 Cleveland
- ➤ At the Rockin’ On the River concert held Friday at Black River Landing in Lorain, community members raised $11,000 for the families of police officers injured in an ambush—one officer died Thursday while two others are recovering from their wounds. Cleveland 19 News
