Good morning, Elyria.
🎓 Education
Ohio now requires all public schools from kindergarten through 12th grade to develop guidelines for responsible use of artificial intelligence.
The state budget mandates that the Education Department will create a model policy by the end of 2025 — with schools required to follow it by July 2026.
🏈 Sports
A new soccer club is set to join professional play in Lorain County by 2026 and will use a converted baseball field at the Lake Erie Crushers stadium—covering about 75% of the field for games.
Owners said local fans will vote on the team’s name and uniform as final plans take shape.
