- ➤ On Tuesday, Elyria City Schools issued new rules for football games that require high school students to show ID, mandate that middle and elementary students enter with a guardian and sit with them, and ban backpacks, loitering, and items like alcohol and weapons—violations may lead to removal and school disciplinary action.
