GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A water main break on the northwest end of Overbrook Road yesterday left water off and forced traffic to use the 100 block for emergency vehicles only. Repair crews worked through the night and water was expected to be restored by 10:00 p.m.—customers were advised to run cold water if discolored water appeared. City of Elyria
- ➤ The Water Distribution Department closed Park Place between Clark Street and East Broad Street on October 6 for a water service line repair that began at 9:00 a.m., and all northbound traffic detoured via East Bridge Street—repairs were finished and the road reopened by 3:00 p.m. City of Elyria
