- ➤ Neighbors in Lorain County have opposed plans for a mega site near the county airport that would bring high-tech development and have organized a campaign of yard signs and petitions to preserve their rural way of life. County officials say improvements to sewer lines and a wastewater facility will move forward to ready the site for future industry—an effort that may expand the area from 1,000 to 2,000 acres.
