➤ Crews isolated a transmission line fault in the Elyria area and restored power to many customers across Avon, Elyria, North Ridgeville, Sheffield, Sheffield Lake, and Sheffield Township; FirstEnergy said 8,397 customers lost power at 6 p.m. and urged caution on streets with interrupted traffic signals. ➤ On Thursday, homeowner Rob Button turned on his new solar panels with the county Residential Solar Co-Op Program, marking the 500th home served. The program uses group buying to cut costs by about 20% and promotes affordable green energy. Cleveland 19 News
